However, the Navy is one of the most popular branches.<\/p>\n When you join the Navy, the first step is completing the Navy boot camp. Unfortunately, this intimidates some people. After all, it takes a lot of work to accomplish.<\/p>\n But how tough is Navy boot camp? Keep reading to learn the answer.<\/p>\n Navy boot camp lasts for eight weeks. The first week doesn’t involve a lot of physical activity, but the remaining seven weeks do.<\/p>\n The first week consists of paperwork and processing. You’ll learn basic commands during this time. You’ll also learn how to stow your uniform and make your bed.<\/p>\n After that, the hard work begins. The following seven weeks contain challenging tasks and require waking up early. The drills generally start at 0600, which is 6:00 a.m. They last until around 2000, or 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n We offer one location for Navy boot camp in\u00a0Great Lakes, IL<\/a>. This area is located between Chicago and Milwaukee and is near Lake Michigan.<\/p>\n Anyone wanting to join the Navy must attend and complete this boot camp.<\/p>\n We have three main core values at the Navy:<\/p>\n Completing the eight weeks of boot camp proves your honor, courage, and commitment. But it’s not easy.<\/p>\n During this time, you’ll learn and be required to follow the rules and commands. You’ll also have to complete a lot of physical activities, including running, swimming, and exercising.<\/p>\n The Navy’s Petty Officers instruct Navy recruits by yelling and giving orders. This is one of the challenging parts of Navy boot camp.<\/p>\n So is the Navy boot camp hard? The answer is yes. It’s physically and mentally challenging.<\/p>\n Each week at Navy boot camp consists of learning and completing different tasks. For example, you’ll spend time learning how to keep watch. You’ll also spend time learning how to save people from drowning.<\/p>\n Additionally, you must complete tests on the information you need, and you must pass every test.<\/p>\n You won’t get a lot of sleep, and the conditions you live in will not be what you’re used to.<\/p>\n Combining all these factors gives you a general understanding of what to expect at boot camp.<\/p>\n Making it through Navy boot camp is essential for joining the Navy. However, you can quit if you want.<\/p>\n If you decide to quit, you can leave boot camp anytime. When you quit, you will not be considered a veteran.
